So having arthritis and trying to quilt on a domestic machine that doesn’t have much room is a recipe for sweat, tears and stress. Still, I managed to get the
The Thank You Quilt – the middle part 2.
So I didn’t have the time to sew or remember to take photos. So the next part seems to have leapt on. I did have some help though.
Finally all the blocks were done and it was time to sew them into rows.
Midway through this my iron gave up for good. A new one was sourced before I could continue. Below is the quilt all pieced together minus the wadding/batting and the backing. I decided to go for a plush backing for warm snuggles.
