So having arthritis and trying to quilt on a domestic machine that doesn’t have much room is a recipe for sweat, tears and stress. Still, I managed to get the three layers set together. It was very tough going, and I was exhausted by the end of it.

Down to the final hurdle and I had to wait a week for the bias binding to arrive, as I was to sore to make my own.

I can really see the end now.

The final project all complete. I loved making it but before I make any more I need to upgrade my machine and space I have to sew. So for now Quilts are off the menu.

My dog had to give the seal of approval 🙂

I’m really pleased with it and considering all things it went surprisingly well. This is my first ever quilt that I’ve made. My children are already pestering me for one of their own.
